About our baseball knicker pants

Knicker-cut baseball pants finish just below the knee so the stirrup or sock shows: the traditional look many programs choose for a throwback night, a summer league or simply as their everyday game uniform.

They are not a full-length pant cut short. The knicker is graded on its own block, so the knee sits where it should and the hem is designed for the shorter length. The seat and knee are the same 240 gsm double-knit polyester as our full-length pants, with bar-tacked belt loops and fly, because sliding does the same damage at any length.

Pair them with our stirrup socks, knitted with a striped top in your colors, for the full traditional look.

What goes into it

  • Finishes below the knee to show the sock
  • Cut on its own knicker block, not a shortened pant
  • 240 gsm double-knit polyester through the seat and knee
  • Bar-tacked belt loops and fly
  • Belt-loop or elastic waistband

How it can be decorated

Baseball is still a twill and embroidery sport. Chest scripts and caps are stitched; sublimation comes in for gradient sleeves and BP tops.

Embroidery

Embroidery

Flat stitch, 3D puff, chenille and appliqué. We digitize your logo in house and send a stitch-out for approval.

Up to 15,000 stitches

Dye sublimation

Dye sublimation

Graphics printed into the fiber rather than onto it, so there is nothing to crack, peel or add weight. Full bleed, unlimited colors.

Needs 80% polyester or more

Cut-and-sew panelling

Cut-and-sew panelling

Color blocking built into the pattern instead of applied on top of a blank, so the seams follow your design.

Questions about baseball knicker pants

For custom baseball uniforms in general, see the questions on the sport page.

Why not just shorten a full-length pant?

Because the knee ends up in the wrong place. A pant shortened after the fact keeps the proportions of the long pattern; a knicker graded on its own block puts the knee and hem where a knicker needs them.

Which socks go with knicker pants?

Stirrup socks are the traditional choice. Ours (BS-023) have a striped top knitted in your colors and are made to be seen below a knicker.
