Soccer is the sport where weight matters most. A player covers ten kilometres in a match, much of it at pace, and every gram of jersey is carried the whole way. That is why soccer kit is sublimated rather than decorated: the graphic goes into the fibre and adds nothing to the garment.

Light, breathable, and the same weight all over
Match jerseys run 135 to 150gsm in bird-eye mesh or interlock. Bird-eye moves more air and is the better choice for a hot climate or a summer season; interlock takes fine print detail better and has a smoother hand.
Because the design is sublimated before the panels are assembled, a jersey with a heavy full-bleed graphic weighs exactly the same as a plain one. A screen-printed or vinyl-applied design does not, and the difference is felt at the eightieth minute.
Goalkeeper jerseys are a separate pattern with a longer body and optional padded elbow panels. Keepers are required to be distinguishable from outfield players, so the GK kit is usually specified in a different colourway at the brief stage.
Socks are knitted to your pattern rather than printed, with a reinforced heel and toe and a graduated calf.
Numbering and kit regulations
Most associations require a number on the back and many also on the front of the short. IFAB Law 4 requires the goalkeeper to be distinguishable from all other players and match officials. Youth leagues and high school associations set their own number height rules, usually between 6 and 10 inches on the back. Send us your association's document and we will confirm the spec before bulk.
Sizing and name and number sets
We grade slim and standard fits, with women's on a separate block and youth as a separate pattern. Send your roster as a spreadsheet with name, number and size and we produce against it, then bag each player individually and label the bag, so kit can be handed out without sorting. Every order runs the same six stages: brief, pattern and sample, your approval, bulk cut and sew, inspection, then shipping. Nothing is cut in bulk until you have held the sample and signed it off, and the approved sample is sealed and sent to the floor as the reference your whole run is measured against.

Does a full-bleed design make the jersey heavier?
No. Sublimation puts the graphic into the fibre, so a heavily printed jersey weighs the same as a plain one. That is not true of screen print or vinyl, and in soccer the difference is noticeable late in a match.
Do you make goalkeeper kits?
Yes, on a separate pattern with a longer body and optional padded elbows. Keepers have to be distinguishable from outfield players, so we usually specify the GK colourway alongside the main kit at brief stage.
Can you bag kit by player?

Bird-eye or interlock?
Bird-eye if the season is hot, because it moves more air. Interlock if the design has fine detail or you want a smoother hand. We will recommend one with your quote based on the artwork and where you play.
