Volleyball has a rule that shapes the entire kit: the libero must be visually distinct from the rest of the team. That is not a design preference, it is a condition of play, and it means the colour split has to be built into the pattern and the print rather than added afterwards.

Stretch that stays where you put it
Jerseys run 180 to 200gsm poly-spandex with genuine recovery, meaning the fabric returns to shape rather than gradually bagging out at the hem. A jersey that has stretched out is a jersey that gets pulled down between every point.
Spandex shorts are cut with a wide, flat waistband and a gusseted crotch so they do not ride up on a dig. Inseams run from 2.5 to 5 inches, and knee-length tights are a separate pattern.
Knee-slide abrasion is the main wear point in the sport, so shorts and tights are reinforced through the thigh and hip rather than relying on the base fabric.
Libero contrast is sublimated in before assembly, so the contrasting kit is genuinely a different garment rather than a different shirt thrown over the same design.
Libero and numbering rules
FIVB and NCAA both require the libero to wear a jersey that clearly contrasts with the rest of the team. Numbers must be a minimum of 15cm high on the back and 10cm on the front under FIVB, in a colour contrasting with the jersey, and numbers 1 to 20 are the usual permitted range. NFHS differs slightly on heights. Tell us which code you play under and we will build to it.
Sizing and inseams
Women's and men's are separate blocks. Short inseams are graded independently of the jersey, so a roster can order a mix of 2.5, 3 and 5 inch without anyone being forced into a length they will not wear. Youth is a separate pattern. Size charts, youth and women's blocks included

Every order runs the same six stages: brief, pattern and sample, your approval, bulk cut and sew, inspection, then shipping. Nothing is cut in bulk until you have held the sample and signed it off, and the approved sample is sealed and sent to the floor as the reference your whole run is measured against.

How do you handle the libero kit?
The contrast is sublimated in before assembly, so it is a genuinely different garment rather than the same design in another shirt. Tell us the code you play under and we will make sure the contrast meets it.
Will the spandex shorts ride up?
They are cut with a wide flat waistband and a gusseted crotch specifically to stop that, and the fabric has real recovery so it does not bag out over a season.
What inseams can we order?
From 2.5 to 5 inches, plus knee-length tights on a separate pattern. Inseam is graded independently of the jersey, so a roster can mix lengths at no extra cost.
Are the numbers big enough for our league?
FIVB requires 15cm on the back and 10cm on the front; NFHS and NCAA differ slightly. Tell us your code at brief stage and the sample comes back to that spec rather than a generic one.
